This is the latest incident of 52 years of British state cover ups for a parachute regiment that murdered 14 and shot 12 innocents on the streets of Derry, mere months after murdering 11 in Ballymurphy. Now more than ever the words of Bernadette McAliskey ring true; ‘When we break the law, we go to jail. When the government breaks the law, the government changes the law.’

We look forward to the day Ireland will be free and at peace. However at this time our thoughts are with the families and tireless campaigners for justice, and our memories with the 14 murdered that fateful day. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-ainmneacha.
