The Young Communist League condemns the illegal and bloody attacks carried out this weekend by the imperialist powers of the United States of America and the genocidal apartheid regime in Israel.
So far cities targeted include Tehran, Qom, Isfahan, and Kermanshah. Casualties are unclear, but it is likely scores of civilians have been murdered or injured as a result. Tragically this includes over 51 students at a girls school in Minab. We reaffirm Iran’s right to self-defence.
In the past 24 hours alone, Israel has bombed Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq and Iran – in addition to Tunisia, Yemen and Qatar within the last number on months.
America meanwhile continues its aggressive blockade of Cuba as, with its hawks in government still high from its recent violations against Venezuela – eager to stave off declining popularity with jingoism.
Against the backdrop of diplomacy in Geneva, the United States has amassed a plethora of military assets across West Asia including warships, munitions and warplanes.
Many of these warplanes were transferred from or transited through RAF bases such as Lakenheath, Mildenhall and Fairford.
During this, the British public are kept completely in the dark about Britain’s role in this pre-planned strike that threatens to erupt into full-scale regional war.
Britain is not a landing strip at the behest of American warmongers, and we cannot nor will we ever accept British soil being used as a launchpad for the murder of our brothers and sisters in Iran.
A gang linked to the paedophile Epstein again try to drag Britain’s youth and workers into another imperialist bloodbath in West Asia.
They tell us bombs are peace.
They tell us death is freedom.
We will not be fooled by these lies from the same class which conspired against Mohammed Mossadegh, the same class that murdered a million Iraqis, the same class which has gleefully armed and funded the genocidal Israeli regime which has butchered its way across Palestine while British youth who oppose this are jailed and slandered.
